THE FIRST-SEASON CSA

A CSA purchase supports the coming growing and production season in advance. A full share includes twelve 750 ml bottles of cider. A half share includes six 750 ml bottles. Each share may include cider from several batches, apple varieties, or fermentations. Flavor, appearance, and carbonation may vary from bottle to bottle.

All bottles in a share will be made available together for a single pickup. We currently expect first-season pickup to take place between late spring and fall 2027. This is an estimate rather than a guaranteed release date: cider follows the timing of the harvest and fermentation, and some bottles may require more time than anticipated. We will keep members informed by email and provide pickup details when complete shares are ready.

PICKUP ONLY

CSA shares must be collected in person on select dates at the farm or at participating farmers markets. Shipping is not available. Pickup dates, locations, and instructions will be sent to the email address provided at checkout.

The purchaser or a designated recipient must be at least 21 years old and present a valid government-issued photo ID at pickup. Please notify us in advance at hello@ocidery.com if another person will collect your share.

Members must collect their share within 45 days after the final scheduled pickup date. If you cannot collect within that period, contact us before the deadline to discuss another arrangement. A share that remains unclaimed after 45 days, without an agreed alternative arrangement, may be forfeited without a refund. Members are responsible for keeping their contact information current.

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION

CSA purchases are generally nonrefundable because membership funds are committed to the coming growing and production season. If your circumstances change, please contact us. Refund requests will be considered individually, but refunds are not guaranteed.

If we cancel the CSA or cannot fulfill all or part of your share, we will refund the amount paid for the unfulfilled portion. Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable law.

OPTIONAL TREE CONTRIBUTION

The optional tree contribution helps with the cost of purchasing, planting, and caring for additional cider-apple trees. Contributions support the orchard as a whole, so individual trees and their fruit are not assigned to particular members.

If an entire CSA order is refunded, its tree contribution will also be refunded. Other refund requests are considered under the same individual refund policy.

PAYMENT

Prices are shown in United States dollars. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not receive or store your complete card number or security code.

An order is confirmed only after payment succeeds.

ORDER COMMUNICATIONS

We will use the contact information supplied at checkout to send your receipt, production updates relevant to your order, pickup notices, and important changes.

Purchasing a CSA share does not automatically subscribe you to our general mailing list.
